This section is for all those fans who love to spot mistakes and continuity errors in films

The Star Wars films have been subjected heavily to this probably due to their enormous popularity. Whilst every effort has been made to reduce continuity errrors and oversights it is a near impossible task. Therefore we have attempted to identify all these points before you do. Of course if you find others please let us know and we will be happy to include your name and observation in the list. Get watching!

MSW2

Intro

GL hands begin on his lap and then the next shot they are raised.

SW2

Scene 1

The film begins in a twinkling starfiled as the intro titles roll. After the intro titles have faded, the camera descends to the planet below. Before the Star Destroyer flies overhead you can see the starfiled stops twinkling. Once the shot changes to the front shot of the Star Destroyer the stars are twinkling again.

You can see the white reflection of the blue screen (or in our case white!), in the throne room floor - even though the window and starfield is in place.

The Emperor has a silver foil brooch in scene 1. This was removed for all subsequent scenes.

The cable in the last shot of scene 1 (as the bounty Hunters walk away)? - look in the lower left corner...

When Obi-Wan reveals himself you can see the orange stick used for rotoscoping at the handle end of the lightsaber

Scene 2

The Palace Guard looks at the camera when turning away from the queen.

"I've already acquired a tranpsort that might suit us.." That might be what Obi-Wan says, but it ain't what you see! Take another look...

Position of Obi-Wan as Amidala challenges them.

Scene 3

The shot of our heroes in the lift is a still image. "Now is not the time to question Master Yoda..." - Yoda's face moves head from his left to right with right ear down. Next shot his left ear is down!

Amidala's face has been superimposed over another.

On the first general shot Hoowot Wywen's hands are down but on the next shot they are raised together.

Yoda looks at the camera when interrupting Obi-Wan

Scene 4

When the small guard informs Maul that the Emperor wishes to speak to him the 2 guards at the console turn around yet in the next shot they have already turned back!

Reverse side shots used if Darth Maul - Look at the boxes!

Scene 5

Apart from copious repeating shots on non verbal expressions I can't find any here!!

Scene 6

Strings visible in force lift and saber drag. "When you are a fully trained Jedi..." Shot before and after Obi-Wan's hands are in a different position.

Obi-Wan misses out some of the turn when returning to sit down with the first set of drinks.

Scene 7

As the guards carry back the dead commamnder they hit the set and it wobbles!

Scene 8

After cockpit explosion Obi-Wan's hands are protecting his face - the next shot they are by his side.

When Anakin sits down you can see the cloth coming away from the seats revealing the cardborad and cushion underneath - Or is the transport ship just old and falling to bits?!

Scene 8A

Apart from crap Foely editing - nowt here!

Scene 9

Emperor's hands are all over the place when electrocuting Maul and Anakin
